The 4th International Yoga Day celebration was organized by the Badagabettu Credit Co-operative Society at the organization’s hall, with the participation of the society’s staff and board members. The event was inaugurated by Mohammad Maula, a member of the Society’s Centenary Committee.

Yoga trainers Satish Kumar Malpe, Raghavendra, and board members Jayashetty, Jayananda Maindan, Padmanabha Nayak, along with General Manager Jayakar Shetty Indrali, were present at the event.

In the program, over 10,000 notebooks worth ₹3 lakh were distributed to students from various Kannada medium schools and colleges in the district. Financial assistance was provided to economically disadvantaged and talented students for their education, and uniforms were distributed to students of Kannada medium aided upper primary schools.

Officials and public representatives who are dedicated to public service must respond to the pain and sentiments of the public at every stage, stated State Minister for Fisheries, Youth Empowerment, and Sports, Pramod Madhwaraj. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Times Connect program, organized by Vijaya Karnataka and The Times of India in collaboration with the Badagabettu Credit Co-operative Society.

He mentioned that while the media is not explicitly mentioned in the Constitution, its role is incredibly important alongside the legislative, judicial, and executive branches.

The BCCS Centenary Marathon 10K 2018 was organized by Udupi District Co-operative Staff and general public for the first time in the history of Co-operative Sector as part of the centenary celebration of the Badagabettu Credit Co-Operative Society, Global president of the Federation of Unions of bantara sangha Harish Shetty Aikala launched the occasion.The marathon took place in 5 divisions, with around 1200 participants participating. Udupi District Assistant Deputy Commissioner Anuradha J, former MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies Praveen B. Nayak, Co-operative Union President Kishan Hegde Kolkebail, District Athletic Association President Dinesh Putran, MAHE Manipal Sports Secretary Dr. Vinod Nayak, Udupi district youth and sports department deputy director Dr. Roshan Kumar Shetty, Kundapur subdivision assistant registrar co-op societies Chandrapratima, city council member Ramesh Kanchan, businessman Jerry Vincent Dias, society vice president L Umanath were present. President Sanjeeva Kanchan welcomed the gathering, General Manager Jayakar Shetty Indrali proposed vote of thanks. Udupi, the prestigious Badgabet Credit Credit Cooperative Society, won the Century’s Great Corporate Honorary Award at the 9th All India Tulu Beltangala Sahitya Sammelan. The award was honored by the Society’s General Manager Jayakar Shetty Indrali. Nadavivabhamam Vasudeva Bhat, Karnataka Film Censor Board Member Jayaprakash Ar Shetty, Vishwanath Shenoy, Badagabetettu Credit Co-Operative Society General Manager Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Akhil Karnataka Tulu Biladangala Sahitya Sammelan President Shekhar Azekar were also present.
