Badagabettu Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., a renowned cooperative society in Udupi, is recognized for its notable achievements in cooperative services, addressing societal aspirations, and offering extensive social and economic support with a selfless and responsible approach.
As part of its commitment to education and social service, the society sanctioned Rs. 12 lakh for students of Kannada medium schools in the district. This initiative included the distribution of valuable notebooks, educational materials, and recognition under the “Pratibha Puraskar” program. The event was held on Saturday, 22nd June 2024, at Ajjarkadu Town Hall, Udupi.
Udupi ASP, S.T. Siddalingappa, inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of continuous learning beyond textbooks to achieve success and develop the ability to face competitive exams. He encouraged students to cultivate habits such as reading newspapers and literary works to acquire essential life skills. Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Mr. Ganapati, highlighted the importance of setting clear goals and working hard to achieve them.
